Research and Implementation of DMA in the Fibre Channel SOPC

    Abstract
  • In order to design a Fibre Channel based on Programmable System on Chip(SOPC),both the XPS Central DMA and the Scatter-Gather DMA are studied.Finally some tests are done on a development board,and the experimental results show that the Scatter-Gather DMA data transmission rate can reach 225MB/s,which meets the Fibre Channel transmission rate requirements(200MB/s).
