Coverage Hole Recovery Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Network

In the wireless sensor network if no wireless sensor node is available in the area due to used up energy or any other reason,the area forms a coverage hole which can not be detected by any wireless sensor node.A coverage hole recovery algorithm aiming at the coverage hole in wireless sensor network is designed.The algorithm calculates the perceived probability in the area around the wireless sensor nodes and moves the wireless sensor nodes to the low perceived probability area and achieves the maximum coverage of the monitoring area.The simulation results show this algorithm achieves the goal of the wireless sensor nodes reasonable distribution with improving the network coverage and reducing the wireless sensor nodes movement distance and extends the lifetime of the network.
