The Motion Control with Combination of the Controllability and Autonomy for the Crowd Animation

  • This paper proposes a method which combines the controllability and autonomy of the motion control for the crowd animation.This method uses the global path planning to find a best path for the autonomous motion of the group, and complete the controllability by changing the motion curve which the group move on, and it uses the vector field of the guide sub-vector and the range keeping sub-vector, and their superposition with the attraction/repulsion sub-vector of the individuals to complete the individuals motion, achieves the real-time interaction by changing the consistency sub-vector.The experiment result shows that this method simulates the autonomous motion really, and fulfills the requirement of the real-time interaction control, has a good controllability.
