An Implementation of CCN Prototype System in the Internet Based on POF

  • Due to the lack of support of the underlying equipment, content centric network (CCN) is difficult to be applied to the real network environment. This paper realize content nodes and routers based on Protocol Oblivious Forwarding Technology (POF), and constitute a CCN network. Through the HTTP-CCN gateway a user can access to the system and through CCN-HTTP gateway the CCN can access to the Internet. The system realizes the access, cache and play of videos on the Internet. The experiments show that cache in CCN can effectively reduce the network delay and network traffic.
