A Novel Adaptive Load-balance QoS Multipath Routing Mechanism in MANET

  • Focusing on the serious deficiency of network congestion and performance decrease caused by typical on demand routing protocol AODV,DSR without considering load-balance in MANET,this paper proposes a novel adaptive load-balance QoS multipath routing mechanism (ALBQM).It consists of i) QoS load awareness model of available bandwidth to avoid congestion;ii) adopt maximum irrelative multipath concurrently to improve throughput by distributing data packets adaptively.Simulation results on OPNET platform show ALBQM applied to DSR does a better job in heavy load environment—higher data delivery rate,lower average end-to-end delay and route error without additional control overhead,compared with traditional DSR and SMR.
