Implementation of Gaussian Wavelet Transform Based on Switched-Current Circuit

  • An novel analog VLSI implementation of continuous Gaussian wavelet transform based on switched-current is proposed.Marr mother wavelet is approximated by a paramerized class of function and with Levenbery-Marquardt nonlinear least square method,the optimum parameters of wavelet approximation function are obtained.The circuits of implementating Marr wavelet transform are composed of analog filter banks whose impulse response is the required wavelet approximation function.The filter design employs switched-current integrators as main building blocks.SPICE simulations indicate a excellent approximations of ideal wavelet.
