Acoustic-Ranging-Based Indoor Peer-Assisted Localization

Abstract
An Acoustic-Ranging-Based Indoor Peer-Assisted Localization(ARPL) method is proposed, which combines highly accurate acoustic ranging and peer-assisted localization to optimize the primary positioning results, and alleviates the temporal variance of signals. Data collection is no longer needed. The experimental results show that, compared with existing typical indoor location method, the proposed ARPL achieved real-time and accurate localization as well as reduced the workload.
