Improvement and Implementation of the Algorithm for Ellipse Scan Conversion

  • 摘要: 提出了一种改进该生成算法的方法.它改变了椭圆扫描转换算法中,位于法向量二分量相等点的以下部分像素点的生成顺序:由长轴上的点向该法向量二分量相等点逼近,即逆向生成.该方法法简化了初始值设置和条件判断,试验结果表明它能够达到节约资源、提高工作频率和增强硬件实现可靠性的目的.

     

    Abstract: This paper presents an improved approach for ellipse generating algorthm with anticlockwise generation in the regin where slope is less than negative one, which lights the pixel on longer axis fistly, then close to the pixel which slope is equal to negative one. This algorithm can simplify initialization and conditional expression, which leads to less resources, faster working frequence and securer hardware generation.
