The Design of UHF 6C Tag with Extended Interface

  • 摘要: 对6C标签进行SPI接口的扩展设计,实现微控制器对无源标签的有线配置和外设对存储器的无线读写功能,极大地扩展了6C标签的应用场景.详细介绍标签通过S PI接口分别与微控制器和外部存储器两种交互模式下的工作流程以及数字基带处理器的具体设计.该标签可携带外部存储器,实现大容量数据存储功能.按照定义的功能,完成了数字基带处理器的RTL设计并采用华虹NEC13工艺进行后端设计,最终面积仅为515μm×380μm.

     

    Abstract: This paper designs a UHF 6C tag with SPI interface to extend its application.The designed passive tag not only can be configured by MCU but also can access the external memory by SPI interface.In this paper,the working flow of tag under two modes which means the communication with MCU or external memory by SPI interface and the specific design of digital processor are analyzed in detail.The tag can carry external memory and can achieve high-capacity data storage capabilities.According to the function,baseband is realized by Verilog and the chip is fabricated with NEC13 process.The final area of baseband is only 515 μm×380 μm.
