基于图像建模系统中图像拼接算法研究

Research on Image Mosaics Algorithm in Image-Based Modeling System

  • 摘要: 为解决各型航海、航空模拟器中基于图像建模系统的重建物体视觉外观真实感较差问题,研究了对于在不同角度下拍摄的不在同一平面的图像的自动拼接与融合算法.算法首先基于SIFT算子提取图像特征;接着采用近似最近邻的优先搜索算法以及极线约束条件获取精确的特征匹配点对;然后采用RANSAC算法鲁棒地估算变换矩阵;最后实现自动拼接与融合.实验结果表明,该算法拼接效果较理想,鲁棒性强,具有一定的实用价值.

     

    Abstract: Aiming at the problem of low photorealistic models in the current image-based modeling system in the current virtual simulator, a new algorithm of image stitching and blending was studied for the images under different angles which are not in the identical plan.Firstly, use scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) to extract invariant features from images mosaic.Secondly, adopt approximate nearest neighbor searching and epipolar constraint to perform reliable matching.Then, use random sample consensus (RANSAC) to obtain the parameters of transform matrix.Lastly, stitching and blending the images.Experimental results show that the image stitching effect is wonderful and the algorithm is highly valuable in practice.
