Abstract:
A novel hardware Trojans detection technique is proposed.This technique divides the surface of tested chip into some smaller sub-blocks,and generates a suitable input vector set with a special selection algorithm.Then the electromagnetic signals from hardware Trojan and genuine circuits could be distinguished effectively with correlation analysis.The detection experiment against an exemplary AES hardware Trojan circuit showed that the technique proposed in this paper could detection the existence of the hardware Trojan and locate the region most responsible for the Trojan successfully with 9000 samples.
