遥感影像分级压缩及渐近传输系统的设计

Research on the Hierachical Compression and Progressive Transmission System of Remote Sensing Image

  • 摘要: 针对目前遥感影像金字塔存储方式造成的数据量过大,以及数据传输完毕再完全解压导致的用户等待问题,提出了一个分级压缩及渐近传输系统,使遥感影像能够在虚拟地球平台快速、平滑的发布.实验结果表明,该系统能够有效减少数据存储量,并实现了数据的渐进传输、实时解压和渐进显示,缓解了用户等待的感觉.

     

    Abstract: Focus on the problem that the large amount of data storage caused by using the remote sensing image pyramid,and the waiting feeling of user that caused by the way that the compressed data stream can not be decompressed until it is transmitted completely,a hierarchical compression and progressive transmission system is proposed in order to release the remote sensing image to the virtual earth platform fastly and smoothly.The experimental results show that the proposed system can reduce the data storage effectively,and implement the progressive transmission of data,real-time decompression and display the tiles progressively,and relieve the feeling of waiting for the users effietively.
