Simulation Implementing of Base Station Power Amplifier Based on ADS

  • 摘要: 为了加快功率放大器的设计并降低网络运营成本提高网络质量, 文中在详细分析基站功率放大器技术要求的基础上, 主要论述了基站功率放大器的设计参数和仿真过程, 提出了一种利用ADS软件进行功放仿真和设计的方法.利用该方法对中心频率为1960MHz基站功放的功率增益、功率附加效率、三阶互调等参数进行了仿真和设计, 同时和测试结果进行了比较.结果表明利用该方法设计基站功放是可行的.

     

    Abstract: In order to accelerate the design of power amplifier, reduce the network business cost and improve the quality of network.This paper, based on analyzing the technical target of base station power amplifier, mainly discusses design parameters and simulation process of base station PA.Presents a kind of method of simulating and designing PA using ADS software.Using the method to simulate and design the power gain, power additional efficiency, and third-order intermodulation of base station PA with a center frequency of 1960MHz.Meanwhile, compares simulation results with testing results.Resultsof comparison demonstrate that the method is feasible to simulate and design base station PA.
