Shadow Detection Based on Mixed Feature and HSI Color Space

  • 摘要: 为了更有效地检测视频序列中的阴影,提出基于组合特征和HSI颜色空问的阴影检测算法.对提取的前景,先采用扩展的不变矩和Gabor小波变换分别抽取待识别区域的全局特征和局部特征来建立组合特征向量,再通过建立的HSI空间的阴影颜色模型来准确检测出目标的阴影.实验结果表明,该算法具有良好的阴影检测效果.

     

    Abstract: In order to effectively detect the shadow area in video image sequences, this paper proposes a new shadow detection algorithm based on mixed feature and HSI color space. After the foreground figures are extracted, this algorithm proposes to use extended moment invariants to get global feature of image and use Gabor wavelet transform to get local feature. Then, combining the global feature and the local feature will fuse into a new feature to be processed. Finally, there is a further analysis of HSI color space to search real shadow area. Experimental results shows that the proposed algorithm owns high performance of shadow detection.
