Abstract: By studying and analyzing the structure of China power grid communication system and communication system's demand for grid business, this article proposes the application of the DPON technology in the grid communication system. Through the analysis of the technical principles and the transmission characteristics of DPON,DPON technology contributes a lot in the realization of the high information,sharing and interaction of smart power grid due to its low cost,ease of maintenance,high security of network construction.
