Abstract: This paper presents the basic concepts of negative association rules firstly. Then the characteristic of negative association rules is analyzed and some algorithms are introduced. With a correlation coefficient measure and pruning strategies,we present an efficient algorithm for mining both positive and negative association rules in databases. At last,we point out the research object.
