Design of Improving Wide-band Beam Based on Second-Order Cone Programming

  • 摘要: 针对常规加权波束形成器获得恒定束宽波束时,存在工作频率带宽较窄的问题,提出了一种基于二阶锥规划的宽带恒定束宽波束形成器的设计方法.该方法是将工作频段分成若干窄带频率区间,采用二阶锥规划方法使各子带中心频率上的波束最佳地逼近期望波束,并得到相应的权向量,使各子带中心频率上的波束图主瓣宽度恒定.计算机仿真结果表明基于二阶锥规划的宽带波束优化方法,具有较好的稳健性.

     

    Abstract: This paper proposes a design approach of wide-band constant beamwidth beamformer based on second-order cone programming(SOCP),considering the fact that the operating frequency bandwidth is narrow,when conventional beamformer applied to constant beamwidth beamforming.The approach includes: first,The working frequency band is divided into several narrow-band frequency range,second,make each sub-band beam on the center frequency get the best approximation of expect beam based on SOCP,to achieve the corresponding weight vector,and the main lobe of the beam of each sub-band center frequency constant.The results of computer simulation show that the method of improving wide-band beam based on SOCP is robust.
