Abstract:
In order to overcome the effect raised by different illumination intensity and thickness of finger on the finer vein image, such as non-uniform illumination and low contract, this paper presents a new method which combined the homomorphic filter method and cubic convolution interpolation method in histogram equalization method.After making the partial histogram equalizations presented, homomorphic filtering is used to deal the low frequency information in every block, then to determine the gray value through the image interpolation.Experiments indicate that the proposed method can strengthen the contrast and illumination of the finger vein image effectively.
