Abstract: In order to build the high performance computing cluster flexibility, offer computing resources according to the need of users’ jobs and improve the utilization of computers, this paper introduces the cloud computing platform which built on the open-source framework of Eucalyptus, and adopts OpenPBS which is cluster management software to create virtual cluster dynamically. In dealing with computing resources elastically offered and low utilization of computers, it develops a middleware platform to manage and monitor the virtual cluster; finally it is proved to be feasible and effective by several experiments.
