An Edge-Enhanced Filter for a One-Dimensional Laser Bar Code Scanner

  • 摘要: 通过分析激光一维条码扫描枪的激光束纵断面特征,借助卷积和拉普拉斯变换,得出激光束对二值条码图像高斯滤波效应的确切表达式.利用高斯滤波效应的表达式,设计出能消除该效应并能使波形边缘增强的Bessel滤波器.应用MATLAB对设计出的Bessel滤波器进行仿真,结果显示该滤波器在提升边缘细节的同时不会增强噪声,对改善一维条码信号方面有参考价值.

     

    Abstract: To a one--dimensional laser bar code scanner, by analyzing the longitudinal profile characteristics of the laser beam, and using convolution and Laplace transform, we obtain the exact expression of the Gaussian filtering effect which is generated when the laser beam scans the bar code images. And then we use the expression of the Gaussian filtering effect to design a Bessel filter, which can eliminate the Gaussian filtering effect and enhance the waveform edge. MATLAB is used to simulate the designed Bessel filter, the result shows that the filter improved the edge with no enhance of noise. That could be some reference value to improve the one--dimensional bar code signal.
