Abstract:
A context-aware energy-efficient multi-path routing algorithm (CAEMR) was presented to minimize the effect of limit energy supply of terminals in Ad Hoc network.In the novel algorithm,node energy consumption and the energy consumption of the transmission path and multi-path routing were considered for Ad Hoc network environments.Simulations were carried out on NS2platform.The results show that,in the same simulation environment,comparing to other routing algorithm,this routing algorithm performs more effectively on saving energy for network,reducing end-to-end delay and increasing the network throughput.
