基于多令牌桶流量整形算法的研究与设计

Research and Design Based on Multi-Token Bucket Traffic Shaping Algorithm

  • 摘要: 针对高速数据网络包交换系统中存在的拥塞问题,分析研究现有解决网络拥塞的流量整形技术,提出支持多组队列整形的多令牌桶算法,并通过VLSI设计方法实现了该算法.采用SMIC 0.13μm标准CMOS工艺库综合,工作频率达到185MHz,行为级仿真及综合结果表明,该算法硬件实现简单,能有效的对包交换网络进行流量整形.

     

    Abstract: For congestion problems existed in the system of high-speed packet switching network,the paper analyzed existing traffic shaping technology for the congestion problems,proposed a multi-token bucket shaping algorithm supporting multiple queues.The algorithm implemented through VLSI design methodology.The operating frequency can reach 185 MHz with SMIC 0.13 μm standard CMOS cell library.Behavioral level simulation and synthesis results show that the algorithm can be simply implemented in hardware and can be effective for traffic shaping in packet-switched network.
