A New Watershed Algorithm Based on Multi-scale Filter and Self-adaptive Marker-Extraction

  • 摘要: 为了克服分水岭算法中的过分割问题,提出了一种基于多尺度滤波和自适应标记提取的分水岭新算法.首先对HSV空间中的V分量进行多尺度滤波,并把滤波后的图像转换到RGB空间;再计算梯度,并对其进行多尺度滤波;然后利用H-minima变换进行自适应标记提取;最后对修改后的梯度图像进行分水岭变换.实验结果表明:与其他改进的分水岭算法相比,此算法对于改善过分割现象有明显的效果,能够获得具有实际意义且更合理的分割区域.

     

    Abstract: A new watershed algorithm based on multi-scale and self-adaptive marker-extraction is proposed to overcome over-segmentation.Firstly,multiple scale filtering is executed on the V component of HSV space,and image after filtering is transformed from HSV space to RGB space.And then,multiple scale filtering is executed on image gradient.Finally,H-minima transformation is used to adaptively extract markers.At last,the watershed transformation of modified gradient is performed.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is obviously effective for the over-segmentation,and obtain meaningful and more reasonable regions.
