A Novel Double-Power Supply Output Circuit with Level Converter

  • 摘要: 出于性能、功耗和兼容性的考虑, 芯片的核心电路与I/O电路一般采用不同的电源电压.文中设计了一种新型2.5V/5V双电源电压输出电路, 此电路带有新型电平转换电路, 能够将摆幅为0~2.5V的内部信号转换为摆幅为0~5V的输出信号.同时, 文中所设计的输出电路只使用2.5V耐压的薄栅氧MOS器件, 虽然在5V电压下工作, 却没有栅氧过压问题.

     

    Abstract: For the trade-off of performance, power and compatibility, core circuits and I/O circuits of chips generally use different power supply.This article designs a novel 2.5V/5V double-power supply output circuit with a novel level converter, which can convert the interior signal between 0 and 2.5V to the exterior signal between 0 and 5V.Moreover, the output circuit which uses only thin gate-oxide MOS devices enduring 2.5V power supply can operate in the 5V power supply, and doesn't have the problem of gate-oxide overstress.
