基于NTRU的双向认证安全芯片设计与实现

Design and Implementation of a Mutual Authentication Security Chip Based on NTRU Algorithm

  • 摘要: 针对嵌入式系统软硬件设计方案的知识产权保护问题,提出了一种基于NTRU公钥密码算法的双向认证模型和保护机制,并在此基础上设计了一款双向认证安全芯片.通过一种轻量级NTRU硬件引擎结构,实现了芯片的小面积、低功耗.采用华虹NEC 0.35 μm工艺库综合,芯片规模约为2.38万门,平均功耗3.17 mW.测试表明此款芯片能够达到保护嵌入式系统安全的目的.

     

    Abstract: For the purpose of protecting software and hardware intellectual property rights in embedded systems, a mutual authentication scheme and protection mechanism based on NTRU algorithm is proposed, and a security chip is also designed. The low power and small area of the kind of chip are realized according to a lightweight NTRU engine. Under Huahong NEC 0.35 μm process, the chip has 23.8 kgates, and its average power consumption is 3.17 mW. Testing result shows that the security chip can achieve the purpose of protecting the security of embedded systems.
